4 Piece Irish Band With Male & Female Vocals - 2 Hours Music

Whiskey in the Jar provide clients with an evening of great Irish folk ballads, jigs and reels and feature fiddle, accordion, whistles, bodhran and guitars. Our standard package is for 2 spots of 45 minutes with 1 hour set up time and 30 minutes break down time. For details of longer sets and travel, please see EXTRAS For an evening a ceilidh dancing we can add a caller to the line up

    We're still entertaining folk as we have always done, keeping audiences on their feet.

  • What are the highlights of your career?

    Other than reaching 25 years... playing in front of the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, and selling out our annual reunion party at Chorley Theatre in Lancashire.

  • What is your competitive advantage (special features)?

    The band features 'father and son' Phil and Samantha, Sam is one of the new talents on the Irish music scene.

  • What kind of events do you usually serve?

    Pubs and Clubs, Weddings and Funerals, Festivals and Corporate events, we play them all.

  • Who are your previous clients?

    Warner Hotels, Manchester Irish Centre, Batley irish Club, Haydock Racecourse, Chepstow Racecourse, Hydes Brewery, Manchester irish Festival, many more upon request.

  • How can event planners pay for your services?

    We do not have a bank ac count, therefore payment IN ADVANCE by cheque (14 days) or BACS (3 days). Otherwise cash during band's first interval on the night.

  • How long do you play for?

    We usually play 2 x 45 minute spots but happy to play for longer by negotiation.

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

    We have a modern and professional PA system and extensive experience in sound management.

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

    We have Public Liability Insurance and PAT testing.

  • How much space do you require?

    We need around 5m x 3m of space, but we've squeezed into smaller.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

    We need a few weeks to give us time to learn new songs

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

    We take breaks as required, but prefer one break of around 30-45 minutes.

  • Do the band have any other requirements?

    For events when we are on site more than 4 hours, the band request that soft drinks and sandwiches / buffet be provided.
