Upshot Circus Arts is a circus arts company operating from Sheffield throughout the U.K. and Europe .
We also run a performer-led agency catering for the widest possible range of entertainment operating in and beyond the remit of circus.
Fees quoted are per performer, usually for a full day, depending on activity. Multiple person bookings may attract discounts.
Duos are usually more effective than solo performers, e.g. Stilt Victorian Lady and Gent.
Performers may be able to provide more than one costume per event.
Travel covers 1-3 performers travelling together.

How long is your performance?
Variable. Workshops 1-2 hours generally Walkabouts 3 x 45 minutes or 4 x 30 minutes depending upon weight of costumes and weather conditions
What age range do you work with?
3 years upwards to occasional rest home activities
What venues can you work in?

Can you work outdoors?
Yes but activities are weather dependent. It will often be possible to change the activity for a less weather dependent one on the day but this is not always possible and we will need to be paid for the event if we cannot perform.
Is the show safe?
Yes. All safety precautions are taken and full risk assessments (and where appropriate method statements) are provided on request.
Any special requirements for the show?
Depends entirely upon the activity
Do I still have to pay if the performer is unable to operated due to unforseen circumstances such as bad weather?
Yes! If it is not possible to deliver the booked skill, we will try to provide an alternative. An example would be a stilt walker being unable to perform due to ice and snow. Instead, we might try to provide a floor based juggler. Whether we can provide a second service or not, the performer(s) will still require full payment.
Set List/Services
We offer a wide variety of performers including:
Stilt-walkers, jugglers, living statues, acrobats, and unicyclists. We specialise in corporate events, fun days, retail, promotional and company days.
Our services also include team-building exercises and peer teaching for groups of up to 300 employees. We supply balloon modellers, face painters, walkabout acts, clowns and a variety of workshops in making masks, kites, puppets, lanterns, costume, and general arts. We can integrate circus and craft workshops for the same event.
