Description
Tom Deacon has successfully climbed the comedy ladder; having performed 4 solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to critical acclaim and having television appearances such as The Rob Brydon Show and Dave’s One Night Stand under his belt.
He has also performed stand up on Alex Zane’s Funny Rotten Scoundrels (London Live) and ‘Edinburgh and Beyond‘ (Comedy Central) as well as making appearances on ITV2′s Fake Reaction and BBC3′s Badults.
Tom has fronted his own comedy show on BBC Radio 1 called ‘Tom Deacon’s Wednesday Night Club’. He then moved to be the voice of the Sunday Night Show for a few years, which consisted of music, and chat – previously hosted by Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw.
In May 2013, Tom went to Australia and performed for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for 3 weeks and earlier this year, travelled to Rio to report on the World Cup for YouTube’s Copa90 as the EuroFan.
A slick, upbeat, confident and loveable performer – Tom is a great choice for after dinner cabaret performances as well as hosting and presenting awards and interacting with the audience. He has recently hosted the prestigious Showcase Live night at Chelsea’s Under the Bridge.
