What are the highlights of your career?
Highlights for the band include performing at the prestigious Farm Street Gala Ball at the Lansdowne Club, Mayfair and working with Grosvenor Britain & Ireland at organising their Summer in the Square festival held on Grosvenor Square, Mayfair each summer for the last 3 years.
What is your competitive advantage (special features)?
Our parent company Nathan Hassall Music Ltd. offers a Wedding Guarantee and also runs a Corporate Loyalty Scheme. Please enquire for further details.
What kind of events do you usually serve?
Wedding Receptions, Private Parties, Corporate Christmas Parties, Large Charity Galas and Industry Award Ceremonies.
Who are your previous clients?
Lots and lots of private wedding clients and then Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, Just Seventy Events, A-Z Events LLP, Farm Street Church, Residents' Association of Mayfair & St. James's and Land Securities to name just a few.
How can event planners pay for your services?
The Swingin' Times accepts payment by Cheque or Bank Transfer (chaps or bacs).
How long do you play for?
Usually the Swingin' Times performs for either 2 x 60 min or 3 x 40 min sets as standard. This can be increased to 3 x 60 min sets at an additional cost.
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
The Swingin' Times has 2 sizes of PA system provided as standard within any cost (A Small to Medium eg. <250 guests, and Large System eg. 250+ guests). The band will provide 2 x 4 LED banks of spot lights/washes as standard.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
The Swingin' Times has it's own public liability insurance to the value of £10 million. This is the amount that most London venues, hotels and stately homes require. All of our electrical equipment is PAT tested each year. If you require copies of any of our certificates please just ask.
How much space do you require?
Ideally the band requires at least the following: - The Swingin' Times - 5 Piece: 5 x 3 metres The Swingin' Times - 6 Piece: 6 x 3 metres The Swingin' Times - 7 Piece: 6.5 x 3.5 metres
My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
Wherever possible and sufficient notice is given the Swingin' Times will try to include as many requested songs as possible if it works for the version of the band booked.
How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
This depends upon the length of your evening and the amount of sets that you want the band to perform. A usual performance contains either 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 min sets so breaks would fit around this.
