The Low Riders are a no-nonsense funk and soul band who guarantee to keep your dance floor hot throughout the night. In a deliberate move away from the smoother, staid nature of other such function bands, guitarist James Hannay has assembled a troop of high-class, vibrant young musicians whose sounds have taken them up and down the UK and across Europe. Notching up over 200 corporate, charity and wedding gigs in 6 years including high profile sets at The Dorchester and Claridges Hotels in London. And what sounds they are. Typified by the raw funk of James Brown, the horn-heavy punch and swing of the Stax label and the melodic dancefloor magic of Motown. The set is rounded off with rock’n’roll favourites and a fillet of the modern era’s finest party tunes. Their tightly wound rhythm section are complemented perfectly by London’s finest horn section also seen playing with Rudimental and Mark Ronson.

7 Piece: 5 piece plus sax and trumpet
8 Piece: 5 piece plus sax trumpet and trombone

"You guys were incredible!!!! The best band ever, we wish you could have played all night! The guys on the trumpet and sax were insane, I loved it when they came on the dance floor and especially when they were dancing on the tables, do you guys usually do that??? My sister has already told me she will be booking you for her wedding next year and I will be sure to pack my dancing shoes for that! To sum you guys up, my friends who are getting married next month said: ""We're so gutted we've already booked our band""
Thank you thank you!"
