The Funk Soul Collective

The Funk Soul Collective is made up of the best musicians in Funk and Soul in the UK, and are on a mission to bring back Funk played in the right way, Mr. James Brown, the Godfather of Soul and the JB's brass stars Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley and Pee Wee Ellis, Parliament Funkadelic, and many more, as their inspiration. The band also play all the best rare groove and jazz funk, including hits from the likes of Roy Ayers, the Brand New Heavies and Jamiroquai.
With female and male vocal options, the band also offer a 70s experience set, featuring the great music of Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross and more, as well as 90's music package covering 90s R&B, soul and hip-hop artists such as Mark Morrison (Return of the Mack), Seal, Mary J Blige, Craig David and many more, ideal for weddings, corporate and private parties as well as DJ sets spanning as much or as little of each decade and style as the client desires.
