The Folk Laurel

We booked The Folk Laurel for our recent event and we were extremely satisfied! They got in touch quickly and we were in regular contact to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible. Tristan, the engineer arrived in the afternoon to set up and was lovely. The band then arrived on time and set up quickly and quietly. The music was absolutely great! We almost asked for a quote without their engineer, but we are so glad we went with the standard option as it sounded and looked so good! I would highly recommend them to anyone and would not hesitate in booking them again myself. Thank you for helping make our event so much better!

The Folk Laurel’s repertoire is very diverse, there was something that we could both agree on and a lot that we thought our guests would enjoy. A week before our wedding we heard from the Band. They were brilliant, we gave them a list of repertoire that we liked and also a list of music we’d like them to play as part of the DJ sets. They also did requests on the night. They were absolutely superb. I can’t thank them enough for how amazing they made our wedding reception. Everyone was up and dancing all night! Chatting with our guests the next morning, everyone thought they were perfect and would all highly recommend!

These guys were fantastic, friendly and helpful with the lead up and set up, then proceeded to play amazing music all night. They read the crowd perfectly and really went out their way to make our wedding perfect. Really professional, easy and fun to work with. Warmly recommend for any event. Plus their version of All Along the Watchtower by Hendrix was superb, good work guys

I can’t actually praise these guys enough! They played great songs, and built up to the best songs towards the end. They got everyone dancing and a few people singing, and even when some guests tried to join in they just took it all in their stride and just seemed to be having a great laugh. Finally, I heard the next day that they even dropped some of my guests off at their accommodation in the village as they were struggling to get a cab – true heroes!
