The Fantastic Elastic Band are a versatile and professional covers band from London. They are available to book as a four-piece band but can also offer the following options: Five-piece band with an additional male/female singer/keyboardist, Acoustic Trio, Acoustic Duo.

They have a vast amount of experience of playing at Weddings, Functions, Private Parties and bars/clubs. The band consist of Male lead singer/guitarist, Lead guitarist/backing vocals, Bass guitarist/ backing vocals and drummer. The proficiency of these musicians allows them to perform in a wide variety of styles including Pop, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Country, Rock and Funk.

The Fantastic Elastic Band play across London and the UK in a variety of venues and can adapt their set accordingly. However, the individual musicians have vast experience of performing and recording throughout the country and into Europe and the United States. Members of the group trained at Music Colleges in London and some of their past experiences include working with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, Miles Hunt, James McCartney, Tony Christie, Pete Molinari and Beverley Stone as well as supporting Reef at the Monto Water Rats.

    Bank Transfer or Cash at the Event.

  • How long do you play for?

    Usual playing times are 2 x 60 minutes but this can be split into 3 x 40-minute sets. Longer sets can be accommodated but at an extra cost.

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

    We have a professional RCF PA System and Full lighting.

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

    Yes, we have £10 Million PL insurance and all equipment is PAT tested.

  • How much space do you require?

    Minimum of 5m x 4m.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

    We do take requests as long as we have enough notice at the time of booking.

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

    Usually a 30 - 40-minute break but we can be flexible on this.

Set List/Services

Standard performance times for Weddings and Functions are 2 hours of entertainment which can be performed in 2 x 1-hour sets or 3 x 40-minute sets. Extended performance times can be negotiated in advance at an extra cost. Our Full professional P.A system, Backline and Lights are provided. We also supply our Virtual DJ service which is a party playlist played on our iPad for when we are not performing. The dress code of the band can be varied to suit the occasion.
