The Cellists

Founded by Cecily Smith and Andrew Nesbitt, The Cellists is a professional cello duo company providing high quality string music for weddings and events. We are the specialists in our field, having organised and performed music for weddings since 2007.

We work with a pool of talented professional cellists around the UK and Ireland to give the best possible performances at special events. Our cellists perform at the highest level, playing with orchestras such as the Halle, Ulster and RTE Orchestras; providing session music; and performing in chamber music and solo settings around the UK.
