After enjoying their music at The French Corner, we booked Swing Train 42 after for a repeat slot at our Christmas venue. Across our six week run Andrea and the gang delivered excellent performance after excellent performance. With a mix of upbeat gipsy swing and jazz, Swing Train 42 created an awesome atmosphere that got everyone dancing. I would thoroughly recommend Swing Train 42 as they were an absolute pleasure to work with, alway professional and awesome musicians. 10/10!

After a bit of online research we took the plunge and booked these guys to play as a quartet (vocals, guitar, double bass & clarinet). I was a bit nervous booking a band I hadn't seen play live but they were every bit as good as their show reel and friendly, helpful and professional to boot. We've had many compliments about our party and the atmosphere the band helped create. Thanks so much - highly recommended!

Andrea, Vivian and Chris played a 2 x 45 min set, and they were excellent! In fact many of our guests have told us since about how much they enjoyed Swingtrain 42's music. We were just delighted with Swing Train 42's performance at our first Gin and Jazz event on Sunday 5 August 2018 held at Bucks County Museum in Aylesbury. Visitor feedback was overwhelmingly positive about the excellent quality of the band and the selection of music. Many said they would definitely return to hear this band play again. These musicians are absolutely wonderful! We had Vivian and Andrea provide beautiful background music for our family party and they were brilliant. They listened to exactly what I wanted and did a perfect job of getting the volume correct so that guests could still talk, rather than having to shout at each other. The communication before the event was excellent and they arrived in plenty of time on the day so they were all set up well before the first guests arrived. They even offered to play Happy Birthday whilst we cut the cake which was such a lovely thing to do. They were cheerful, exceptionally polite and a delight to have at our party. Thank you so so much!

We hired SwingTrain 42 as a 3-piece band for an afternoon family party. They were punctual, accommodating, played at a sensible volume appropriate for the event and were charming & very easy to deal with. Absolutely amazing. We asked Swing Train 42 to play before our wedding ceremony and during the drinks reception afterwards and we were blown away! They were fantastic and it was just what we had envisaged. I could not recommend more highly - they were so flexible in accommodating our requests (playing something slightly slower before the ceremony, for example) and everything went perfectly. We received so many comments on how great they were. Thank you so much! We had the best day and largely I think that was down to the fact that we had so many great people helping to make it go so smoothly. Thank you again.

Swing Train 42 was great for a number of reasons: on time, easy set-up, flexible on-the-moment playlist, and best of all their music had us dancing! It's happy jazzy gypsy music at its best. They added a bass for an additional fee which was a great suggestion - string music party!

I'm not giving 10/10 for no reason... SwingTrain 42 was playing a variety of amazing music in my shop and we were astonished by their talent on mandolin etc. They were extremely punctual, kind and we cannot wait to have them again.

Swing Train 42 chose our pub to shoot a video and I was very impressed with their sound, style and professionalism. Their blend of sophisticated, mellow and rhythmic music is a delight and I'm very pleased that they agreed to perform here on a regular basis.
