I’m James, a wedding photographer based in Kent. I’m not like the other photographers you’ve looked at, though. I don’t just take photos. I tell stories.
I tell the story of your wedding day through a collection of pictures that are candid, honest, and largely unposed. No forced poses, no cheesy smiles, simply discrete candid documentary wedding photography.
Your wedding day is one of the most precious days of your life, a day you share with the most important people in your life. I believe, as the photographer, it's a privilege to be allowed to document your wedding for you and to create pictures you are able to look back on for years to come. I believe the pictures that I take should tell the authentic story of your wedding day allowing you to happily look back at these candid images and remember each moment the pictures captured, not what the photographer made happen through heavily posed images.

What does the wedding package include?
Coverage from bridal prep in the morning until the first dance in the evening. This allows me the time and opportunity to capture your full day from start to finish. Your photos are delivered via a private, online, professional gallery service called Pixiest. You are able to view your gallery from any mobile phone, tablet, laptop or PC. You have unlimited downloads of your gallery and the peace of mind that your precious wedding photos are safely backed up online for you. All your images are individually selected, checked and edited by myself. As I work through your images you will receive a mix of colour and black and white as best suits each image. Once your images are ready I post you a small selection of photo prints from across your day in a bespoke gift box.
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No I focus on 1 wedding a day
What style of photos do you take?
Documentary, candid images
Do you send all the photos taken?
NO - I will take several thousand images over the day and then select the best of these and they are then edited and sent to my clients. My average is around 400 images for a full day.
Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?
Yes
