Description
Hi, I'm Shane. I’m a Cape Town-born wedding photographer, husband to Charlie and cat dad to Jack. When I’m not behind the camera my obsessions include travel, fitness, riding my longboard and Nandos hot sauce (but then who doesn’t like a little heat with their food, right?). I’ve competed in a few triathlons and as a result have become really good at swallowing the River Thames water – but I wouldn’t recommend this!
My photography career took off eight years ago when I met my wife. She inspired me to leave my 9-5 job and pursue my passion for visual storytelling. This, together with my interest in people, made for the beginning of Shane Mitchell Photography. Now I can honestly say that I have the best job in the world because I LOVE what I do.
