• Headshots
The eyes are the key to the soul.
Having worked as a performer myself I know how important headshots are, and how daunting being in front on the camera can be - believe me, I was a nervous wreck when I had my first set of headshots done.
We'll keep the session nice and relaxed, we'll chat about casting types and desired looks, but mostly focussing on getting photos that show who you are and will get you into the audition room.
The session will usually last around an hour (up to two hours for portrait sessions) giving you plenty of time for a few outfit changes - see my preparing for your headshot guide for ideas on what to bring.
• Production Shots
The importance of having dynamic images to show everybody what your production is about cannot be underestimated - it's a real investment.
Having trained as an actor, and having spent many years jumping up and down on stage in a variety of different, and sometimes amusing, costumes, I am best placed to seek out the beats in your production, and capture the mood and those special storytelling moments.
• Weddings
On the day I work in a non-obtrusive and photojournalistic way, but I also like to try to be a calming presence on your wedding day. I know being in front of a camera can be daunting, and I won't expect you to carry out pose after pose, but will give you subtle guidance where I can to get those breathtaking images you will want on your mantelpiece.
I put as much effort into post-production as I do on your big day. I spend hours individually going through your images, colour correcting, tidying, and choosing between colour and black & white - all your images will have my signature style to really show off your big day.
I edit with a natural style, with a slight cinematic finish - because every love story is worthy of the Hollywood treatment.
I am lucky enough to have one of the best jobs in the world - capturing people's memories, and gifting them images that they can cherish for a lifetime.
