What services do you offer?
I am a documentary style photographer and I offer various packages to suit your needs. I also offer various add on services such as USB's, eco friendly confetti, photo books and albums, videography and a fairylight backdrop for hire.
What does the wedding package include?
I offer various packages that include different levels of service. get in touch for more details.
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
nope! If you book with us, your special day has our undivided attention for the duration of our time together.
What style of photos do you take?
I favour candid photography, I like to stay out of the way and snap authentic happy moments. However I am talented and flexible! I know what poses make a good photograph so I am happy to discuss style with you. I will provide a lovely mix of colour and black and white photographs unless otherwise specified- you'll be spoiled for choice! Any specific requests must be made clear at the time of booking.
What kind of technology do you use?
We shoot with a canon 5D Mark III which is above industry standard. For videography we use a directional microphone and a professional tascam recording device.
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
We send you an exclusive download link for all of your beautiful edited photographs the second they are ready! Only people with a link can access the gallery giving you full control over who gets to share then with you.
Do you send all the photos taken?
You will receive lovely polished edited copies of every photograph we take. We do not provide original raw files.
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Most packages require only one professional, however we have a team of trusted comrades at the ready if you require more hands on deck.
In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?
In the unlikely event of extreme circumstances, we have a list of reliable contacts to find a replacement photographer.
Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?
The copyright of the photographs remains with the photographer. This means that the client can reproduce them for personal use only. This also means that we have the right to watermark any photos, however as a courtesy we tend to only select a few to watermark.
What is the turnaround for receiving the photos/videos?
I do my absolute best to get your gorgeous photographs and videos to you as quick as possible - I know how excited you must be. Typically, I advise 2-4 weeks for photography (depending on the package you chose) and 4-8 weeks for videography. If you have a deadline in mind please do get in touch and I'll see what we can do to help. Requesting a quicker turn around may incur a charge to get the job done in good time. Please note I do not typically offer amendments to photographs. Small amendments may be made to videos at the editors discretion.
Payment and deposits - how does it work?
Typically, wedding bookings require a £100 booking fee to secure your date. The booking fee is non-refundable and secures the date requested by the client and compensates the photographer for any loss of business incurred if cancellation occurs. The booking fee is deductible from the total cost of your package. The outstanding balance is to be paid on or before the date of two week before your service is due to start. I am able to offer tailored payment plans under special circumstances at the photographers discretion. In the event of late payment, a charge of £10 per day of lateness will incur to be added to the outstanding balance. Other events require full payment in advance at the time of booking. Cancellations made by the client with more than 14 days notice: The booking fee in non -refundable. The client will not be required to pay any outstanding balance. Cancellations made by the client with 14 days or less notice: The booking fee is non refundable and the client will be required to pay the outstanding balance. Cancellations made by the photographer: A full refund will be issued if a suitable alternative photographer cannot be sourced.
My USB is faulty, what do I do?
A standard 3.0 flash drive is included in every wedding package. The USB holds a thirty day guarantee starting from the date you receive it (although with proper care and use it should last many years). If your USB is faulty or breaks within 30 DAYS (through no fault of your own) it will be replaced free of charge. Please note, faulty USB's will only be replaced once, and is subject to the original being returned. Corrupted USB's through misuse will not be replaced. Replacements after the 30 day guarantee will be subject to normal costs.
Looking After your USB
USB's are for personal use only. USB's should only be inserted into a computer or laptop. Please do not try to use your USB in a TV, monitor, tablet or other device. Do not force your USB as it may cause damage. When you are finished looking at your photos, you will need to 'eject' the USB. This is done by right clicking the drive in 'my computer' (PC) or 'finder' (MAC) and clicking 'eject' or 'eject safely'. Failure to do so may cause your USB to corrupt. A replacement will not be considered for USB's that corrupt through misuse. Please ensure your USB is stored safely away from children and does not get wet.
Do we need to feed you?
Nope! I'm a fussy eater so I take care of myself.
Can I share the photos with friends and family?
Unfortunately no. The contract and purchase is between you and I, therefore you have the right to print and post your photos online however other people do not. Therefore I ask that you do not share the password to your gallery with other people. But fear not! Friends and relatives can purchase a link to your digital files for just £10 per person. This gives them them right to post on social media and print as they wish.
Do you have insurance?
Yes I have full professional coverage including public liability insurance, professional indemnity insurance and equipment coverage.

I want to postpone my wedding due to covid, what happens?
More than two weeks notice: Your booking fee is non refundable, however as a courtesy I may be able to transfer your fee and contract to your new date, subject to availability. This is at the photographers discretion. Less than two weeks notice: If you have paid in full and wish to postpone your wedding, at the photographers discretion any and all payments made may be moved to your new date, subject to availability. If a mutually available date cannot be agreed payments are non refundable as per normal terms and conditions.
