I can personally offer three styles of dress to suit your occasion: Full dress with feather bonnet, Evening dress with dinner jacket, white shirt and Dickie bow tie, Day dress with blazer jacket, and a white shirt and tie. A traditional bagpiper will add a touch of flair, drama and excitement to your wedding day. To make your day memorable from the start, I will play for all of your guests as they arrive, then pipe in the bride and the bridesmaids. I can play during the ceremony, (a beautiful hymn such as Amazing grace, or any other classical musical selection of your choice), or just during the signing of the register. I can also play as the guests are leaving the ceremony, and during the photography session. I can play at the reception during the cocktail hour, and then after that, i will play the bride and groom to their table, offering a unique and glorious element to your special day.
A traditional bagpiper can be used at corporate events and at work related dinner presentations. Having a piper is a highly visible and unique addition to your function, adding a touch of class. A traditional bagpiper can also be used at an opening of a new business premise as people will be charmed by the sounds of traditional bagpiping - and flock by to see what is happening!
The Bagpipes add a special touch to a funeral providing bittersweet and haunting music which is the perfect send off for your special loved ones. Traditional bagpipers have been used at military and state funerals for centuries and piping is bing more of amon, everyday feature at funerals. A piper can play at the church during the ceremony and can walk in front of the hearse leading the funeral cars up the drive to the graveside or to the Crematorium. At the Crematorium it is a special touch to have the piper walk through the room playing a lament as the curtains are being drawn.
Celebrate the life and works of one of the most famous of all Scottish poets, Robert Burns. Every Burns night supper has its own special flavour, but they all share the purpose of honouring Robert Burns. No Burns night supper would be plete without a bagpiper to pipe in the Haggis, the Scotch whisky, and a Burns poem recital, creating a fitting tribute night to one of Scotland's finest.
Phil plays at venues in the following areas: North Wales, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Shropshire, Liverpool, Manchester, Wirral,

It all went very well and people commented about how lovely the piper was and a fitting tribute to mum's heritage.
Once again, many thanks

I cannot thank you enough for making our day what we wanted. You managed to make Clare cry which was the desired effect. Everyone was saying how good you were. And....you even managed to bring a tear to the eye of one of the Scottish contingent. I will always sing your praises and will 100 % recommend you to anyone that ever asks.
Thank you again.

"We hired Phil to play at our wedding and he was amazing! From the first initial enquiry to the day of the wedding, Phil communicated very well and emailed regularly checking on song choices and details for the day. He was very knowledgeable about song choices and answered all queries quickly.
On the wedding day, he was professional and polite. His playing was exceptional and he added that extra special touch to our day. Lots of friends and family commented on his wonderful playing.
I would highly recommend Phil to add that extra special touch to your occasion."

Phil played at our wedding. It was really easy, we kept in touch via email and met up on the day. The registry office even said he was the beast around. Could not fault and very patient taking all of the photos at the end. Thank you.

Used piper Mconnel for my mother's funeral last week at landican on the Wirral . Dealt with everything with the funeral director and dealt with his part of the ceremony without our direction also advised on the length of music required for the walk in . Was really prompt, respectful and waited until everything had been finished before leaving . Piping was really excellent and price very reasonable. Will use Phil for all of our family events in future .
