I have been working in London for the past 30 years, initially as a pastry chef at Villandry and later as a chef and head chef at various restaurants, most notably La Fromagerie, Zucca, Rochelle Canteen, Duck Soup, York and Albany and the Mistley Thorn near Manningtree as well as a stint in Bologna at the historic Caminetto d'Oro.
I aim to provide a friendly, informal and yet professional service, My objective is to understand the needs of the customer and the type of experience sought. From birthday parties, to dinner parties, to small corporate events, my goal is to deliver delicious, homemade food, using only the best seasonal produce, locally sourced. Be it Rustic Italian, Modern British or Classic French.

An AMAZING Afternoon Tea. I have had quite a few afternoon teas in some very nice establishments, Milano exceed even the best I have had. The food was very well presented and delivered in boxes on trays, already to be served. Delivery was very prompt and with very friendly service.

All the food tasted exceptional, freshly prepared sandwiches with plenty of filling, delicious. The cakes were all homemade and you could tell, they were wonderful. I have to say everyone said the Pavlova was the best they had ever had, prepared to perfection.

I have been recommending Milano Catering to all my friends and family since we had it. You will not be disappointed, the whole experience was excellent!

3 Course Fabulous Dinner For You & Your Friends

Fabulous dinner for you and your friends cooked in the privacy of your own home. Each package will be discussed individually with the client. I can offer a personalised chef service for every occasion. I cook all my meals from scratch, using fresh produce, meat and fish. I bake my own bread and pastries and all desserts are also homemade. I have been a chef for over 30 years and my mother and grandmothers were chefs also. I enjoy making people happy through food!!

Afternoon Tea

I am offering Afternoon Tea: 2 scones, homemade jam and clotted cream, a selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls or savoury tartlets, a selection of cakes and strawberry Pavlova. All afternoon teas can be tailored to your tastes. All jams are homemade as are the cakes and savouries. Complimentary loose tea from High Teas, a family business in London. Children afternoon teas are also catered for and priced individually. As all the food is made especially for you, I would appreciate 48/72 hours notice if at all possible. Please do ask if you would like more or less food than what is offered above and I will endevour to accomodate you and adjust the price accordingly. Cinzia

  • What services do you offer?

    I offer Private chef services and catering for small parties and family gatherings.

  • Do you offer a venue for the banquet?

    No I don't.

  • Do you cook in the same location as the banquet?

    Depending on the requirements, but I normally ccok most of the meals from my base kitchen.

  • Is it possible to adapt/modify the menu?

    I am keen on providing menus that please the clients. The menu on view is only a sample. All menus will be tailored to the customer's requirements.

  • What kind of cuisine do you offer?

    I offer a variety of cuisines, however I love to serve modern Italian or quite simply high quality, contemporary food made with good ingredients and always from scratch. I have worked as a Head chef in various establishments, mainly in London. Villandry and La Fromagerie, Rochelle Canteen and Zucca, Ducksoup and and Ask For Janice. All these experiences have taught me a variety of styles. The fundamental thread running through all these establishments was quality.

  • Do you offer special menus?

    I am happy to offer totally Vegetarian or Vegan menus which would be discussed with the customer. I can also offer children menus and tea party menus.

  • How does the open bar work?

    I don't operate a bar.

  • What is included in the menu?

    3 Course meal. But , as previously said, I prefer to discuss each menu individually.
