Mark is an award-winning acoustic and electric violinist with the best part of 15 years performing experience. He can play a variety of styles of music to suit your occasion from classical to contemporary. He has his own sound and lighting system he uses which plays his high quality backing tracks as well as his electric violin if the electric violin is desired.

FAQs

  • How long do you play for?

    This entirely varies on what you would like. Mark can perform anything from just one song for you, or throughout your event.

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

    Mark is totally self contained and does have his own sound equipment, and lighting equipment if required and appropriate.

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

    Yes, Mark has public liability as part of ISM membership, and electrical appliances are PAT tested.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

    Most song requests are possible with enough notice. Please be in touch and I'll be happy to help!

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

    The breaks Mark will take of course depends on how long the booking is. Mark will be able to advise but it will be roughly a 10-15 min break for every 50-60 mins of playing.

  • What will you bring to my event?

    I will bring either my acoustic or electric violin (or both if desired) and the PA and lighting system to go along with it if required. As well as amplifying the electric violin, it will also play my high quality backing tracks.

  • What type of music will you play?

    This is up to you, I can play a variety of music and I would be pleased to discuss this with you in advance.
