Mabel grew up in a strong Christian household with her father (Senior Pastor of Christian Life Church UK), Mother (teacher) and younger sister.
Classically trained on the flute; this singer, songwriter, worship leader and vocal coach has the vocals to sweep you out of your everyday life and into God’s presence. Mabel is a force to be reckoned with.
Raised by a musical family (both parents play brass instruments) her love for music was inevitable; for Mabel, music allows her to convey the message she could not do with mere words. At the age of 17, Mabel joined gospel group called Prevail, where she started her training. Within Prevail, Mabel was able to perform at various venues around the UK. Since then, Mabel has worked with various singers and musicians on album projects, and organised music workshops for up and coming musicians and singers, not bad for a girl who grew up in south London.
In 2014, Mabel travelled to Chicago where she was re-inspired and her passion for Gospel music grew even more. She got the chance to meet and work with some of Gospels finest, Pastor Andre Crittenden, Mark Hubbard, Keisha McFarland, Kim McFarland, J.J. Hairston, Donald Lawrence and many more.
Having opened for and shared the stage with Grammy awarded musicians such as Mary Mary, Emeli Sande, Don Moen, J.J. Hairston , Mark Hubbard and the Voices, to name a few; she is finally bringing her own unique sound to the world. Currently Mabel is working on her debut EP and is planning her upcoming concerts. Her music is set to uplift, encourage and inspire.
Mabel is currently the worship leader and music director for Waterfalls Church in London.
