Luisa Omielan is a London based stand-up comedian, improviser and actress. Her debut solo show ‘What Would Beyonce Do?!’ proved unbelievably popular and has so far had 5 sell out runs at London’s Soho Theatre, 2 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in Estonia, LA, New York and Singapore.
Luisa has appeared on ‘Alex Zane’s Funny Rotten Scoundrels’ on London Live and ‘Comedy Central at the Comedy Store’.
She is a high-energy, enthusiastic performer capable of engaging any audience, improving the atmosphere and putting the entire room in a great mood; she has previously performed provate shows/parties for Lush Cosmetics and Deloitte.
Luisa has been featured in Grazia, Stylist, Womens Hour, BBC Radio 1, Gaydio, Handbag.com, Vogue.com, Fabulous Magazine, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and The New York Times.
She can currently be heard on BBC Radio 2 with her own show ‘Luisa Omielan’s Party’ and gigging around the country with her current show ‘Am I Right Ladies?!’
Luisa has just returned from a 3 month stint in Australia, where she performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She also did a set for the Melbourne Comedy Gala which was broadcast and the clip of that set has now reached over 9 and a half million views online. She was also nominated for the prestigious Barry Awards whilst down under – the biggest live comedy accolade Australia has.
Luisa also has experience in TV warm up. Perfect for after dinner entertainment, or hosting of award ceremonies.
