Never having booked a Bagpiper before, I was very nervous when arranging my 83 year old Father’s funeral. Hector Munroe the Bagpiper answered all my calls, emails, questions and queries and was very professional. He turned up early, went through everything with the Vicar, piped my Father’s coffin into the church, and the mourners out of the church after the service. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Hector as immediate family were whisked away to the burial, however Hector sounded and looked impeccable in full Scottish attire as requested by myself. I would whole heartedly recommend Hector 100%, and he was also very good value for money.
Hector gave us a great atmosphere with his playing.
I couldn't speak more highly of Hector. He helped me surprise my future fiancee in a freezing park for a proposal. Amazing piping, totally understood what I wanted and we will be booking him for the wedding. Literally fabulous. Thank you Hector!!

Hector played at my fathers funeral as he loved bag pipes and it was amazing, combined with his favourite hymn amazing grace, it certainly was very special
Hector Munro was absolutely fantastic. He stepped in last minute after plans with another piper for our wedding were starting to look a little uncertain. Hector was extremely professional and his playing added so much joy to our day. Communication was easy and quick. He remembered all the details we spoke about in our plans for the day. He was very friendly and our guests spoke about how lovely he was. Thank you for helping to make our day so memorable!
Hector was gracious and played well at my close friend’s ‘celebration of her life’ event. He came at short notice and played some tunes after speeches which lifted everyone’s spirit. Highly recommended.
