Welcome King Candy & The Sugar Push to your stage and be transported back to America’s golden age of swing. Add a dash of contemporary humour and lashings of finely crafted musicianship and you’ve a recipe for enjoyment. Move your feet as the musicians knock out a serving of big band hits and feast your ears on the bitter-sweet tales of love and loss from our glamorous chanteuse Kate Mullins (Puppini Sisters).

King Candy & the Sugar Push have quickly made a name for themselves (albeit a long one) as one of the UK's top retro acts playing beautifully crafted arrangements of American swing music.

Frequently invited to play at the major swing-dance events in London and the UK, they have honed their skills on the thriving Lindy-hop circuit entertaining some of the country's top dancers. Equally, the quality of musicianship in the band is such that they repeatedly sell-out respected venues like Ronnie Scott’s jazz club, holding their own on the band-stand with a concert programme of superbly-crafted arrangements and witty banter for the discerning jazz concert-goer.

As well as providing music for events we use the close bond we have with some of London's top dance troupes including the award winning Attic Cats to provide a package of music and dance for a whole evening's entertainment. This can take the form of a swing dancing class, a concert and cabaret display and an opportunity for you to try out your new steps to some high-octane musical accompaniment!
