My name is Katy. I’m based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, right between The Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors which holds some of the most beautiful wedding venues and locations in the country. I am a photographer with a passion for creating timeless images for you to proudly display on your wall and produce a unique record of your special day. My photography style is a mixture of working in an unobtrusive documentary manner, capturing candid and unplanned moments, balanced with the traditional family group photos and some beautiful couple’s portraits – the ones that you would be proud to hang pride of place above the fireplace. I have always been a “people-watcher” and I just adore observing & capturing all that is going on – the laughter, the enjoyment, and the little tender moments, (you’ll often find me laid on the floor photographing children playing, or hiding behind a door). I’ll also spend time photographing all the little details of your wedding, to add depth to the memories so you are left with the most thorough story of your wedding day. You’ll have my absolute undivided attention on the day. No two weddings are the same…i’ll be telling your story in an authentic way, one size does not fit all. I’ll plan your photography with you, so it perfectly fits the story and captures the emotion of your wedding.

I only accept a limited number of commissions each year so i’m able to guide you through the process, giving you a personal service to ensure that I am available before, during and after your wedding.
