We are a professional wedding band, party and function band
Jump The Q are a wedding, party and function band providing professional entertainment for the North East, Yorkshire and North West of England. We also work in other areas within England and Scotland.
We offer first class entertainment by professional musicians, and can be booked for;
Weddings (ceremonies, afternoon and evening receptions)
Parties
Balls
Corporate events
Launches – company products and services
Meet and greet
Freshers and graduation parties and other special occasions.
We can cater for a number of musical tastes and can provide sets for pop, background/jazz, swing and ceilidh. The band can adapt to your particular needs – from a solo saxophonist to a full five piece band.

A wedding band, party and function band for all audiences
We can cater to any audience, young or old and will tailor a package to suit your exact function band needs. We have a variety of set lists which we can play at your function, ranging from Ceilidh to pop music. With such a choice of music, rest assured your audience will not be disappointed and will be thoroughly entertained throughout your function.

Our Swing & Jazz set is perfect during your meal or reception drinks or even throughout your whole event. It is also perfect during a civil ceremony. It creates a sophisticated & intimate mood for your event at a volume where your guests can still converse. Our set list for this style of music is immense and these are only a small selection of the songs which we play.
We mix a selection of classic jazz standards along with more contemporary songs by artists such as Norah Jones, Sade, Eva Cassidy & The Corrs. This style of music can be provided by our solo sax, duo, trio or four piece, with or without vocals.

Ceilidh
Our ceilidh set is a fantastic and fun way to start (or finish) your party. Jump the Q play the ceilidh set as a five piece band (violin, flute, sax, keyboards & guitar) and use a fabulous caller to instruct and help with the dances regardless of whether your guests are total beginners or seasoned experts.
We play a selection of traditional Scottish, English & Irish music which will entice everyone onto the dance floor. You then have the choice of one other large set or two smaller sets of pop, jazz or swing (or a mixture of styles) with the four piece band. Please note that the above titles are songs and not dances. The caller will choose the dances depending on the ability of your guests.
