Hello!

My name is Julia and I am a singer and a songwriter. I am 18 years old but written and recorded a trilogy + album (32 songs). I am originally from Ljubljana, Slovenia but I moved to the USA when I was 17 years old to finish my senior year over there (alone) from where I graduated in May 2014 and since my visa ran out I came back home in July 2014.

I've played more than 30 shows, including in front of the president, a guest on TEDx etc. I've been accepted to Berklee college of music (where I'm possibly starting my year in September 2015 (depends on a scholarship)) in Boston (and the new school for contemporary music in New York and Institute of contemporary music in London).
I am currently looking for gigs around London, I usually do acoustic shows with my pianist and we'd be more than happy to do cover songs, original songs and requested songs as you wish, our repertoire is more than 100 songs and we can learn anything you want in a day. We are all about bringing the good energy where is it a wedding or a lounge performance we'll always make you smile and make a great night for you and your guests.

Skills and qualities:
I am an 18 years old performer, who has already performed 42 different concerts, including TEDx and performance in front of Slovenian president. Even though I am a big admirer of Europe, I moved to the USA alone in my senior year of high school from where I graduated in 2014 with one of the highest GPAs. Ever since, I was accepted to Berklee college of music, The new school for contemporary music and Institute of contemporary music, where I’m beginning my studies in September 2015.

Experience:

I am a very big world enthusiast and a very independent person with a strong sense for leadership. I’ve already been to all countries in Europe, five countries in Africa, 32 states in USA, and in China and Thailand in Asia, so traveling is in my blood.
When I was 16 years old, I got signed to a record label for which I wrote and co-wrote 32 songs, recorded a trilogy and an album.
I played around 14 acoustic performances with different piano players, 2 big band performances, and multiple jazz band performances. In 2014 I finally had a chance to perform in front of the president as an exclusive guest on a TEDx event in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Because I moved to the USA so young, I am now a student ambassador for an organization called “New Intelligence” which helps students study abroad.

Interests and skills:

I love running. I run 12 km (apx. 7 miles) everyday so I keep myself motivated. While studying in the US I also did track and competed in a 800m discipline. Keeping myself in shape physically as well as mentally gives me a chance to stay motivated and self disciplined. Throughout childhood I was always very active: performing, competing in tennis, taking singing lessons for 12 years, finished 7 years of music school, dancing jazz ballet, gymnastics etc.
Additionally to that, I play jazz piano in free time and do a lot of songwriting. I’ve written more than 32 songs with a goal of combining jazz, pop and gospel together.
Lastly, I love education and reading books. Even though it sounds cliché, I really believe education opens doors.
