Jen Brister is a stand up comic, writer and comedy actor. A regular performer on the UK & International circuit she has also written for BBC Scotland, presented for BBC6 Music.
After a successful and critically acclaimed tour of her second show ‘British(ish)’ at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe in 2011; Brister took her brand new show, ‘Now & Then’ on tour in 2012 Australia/Asia before showcasing it once more at the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
Brister began 2013 with a sell out run at London’s Soho Theatre and this year, performed her new show, ‘Wishful Thinking’ at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in March to critical acclaim and then took it to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
Jen has previously performed at events for Accenture and Square Peg Media. She is also a regular performer for charity events such as Laugh Till It Hurts, Stand Up for Palestine, London Assembly and Pride.
