Authentic Jamaican food cooked especially for you and your guests. The Jamaica Inn Kitchen team will bring and serve a range of delicious dishes to your event and celebration in true Caribbean style.

All dietary requirements are catered for and menus can be tailored to your needs and flavour preferences from light, spicy, mild etc.

Born in Brixton of Jamaican heritage Derrick has always loved cooking, he produced a multi-cultural menu for his Al Fresco restaurant in Portugal for 15 years and is now back in the UK bringing seriously tasty food to the Cotswold's. Derrick recreates the Caribbean flavors he learnt as a child for events and occasions across the Cotswold's.

The Menu

Sides and Starters:
Jamaican Patties perfect for starters and snacks.
A Jamaican patty is a pastry that contains various fillings and spices baked inside a flaky shell.

Crispy Plantain
Some cooking bananas are also referred to as green bananas or plantains.

Spiced Dumplings
Fried and spiced dough balls.

Mains:
Curry Goat
A curry dish prepared with goat meat and pepper and spice. The dish originated in the Indian subcontinent; and has become popular in Southeast Asian and Indo-Caribbean cuisine.

Ital curry
A vegan Caribbean stew made with pumpkin, red peppers and black beans with a light, tangy, sweet and sour flavour.

Salt fish & ackee
A traditional Jamaican dish light tasty and mild in flavour. . The ackee fruit was imported to The Caribbean from Ghana before 1725, as Ackee or Aki is another name for the Akan tribe, Akyem.

Jerk chicken
The most popular Jamaican dish! Jerk is a style of cooking native to Jamaica in which meat is dry-rubbed or wet marinated with a hot spice mixture called Jamaican jerk spice.

All main dishes are served with rice & peas and fresh coleslaw
