High Voltage Big Band

Brass & percussion ensemble band based in Billericay, Essex. The band has 31 members including 23 brass players, 5 piece rhythm section & 3 vocalists.

Drawing together some talented and long-serving musicians, mainly from Drum Corps backgrounds in the Essex area, High Voltage Big Band has set out to provide a platform for people to come along and enjoy their music without having to run around a field! Although many will see this band as a mini-corps, the mix of music and the subtle change of style and approach to playing the numbers will put us into a "big band" type of category. Add to that the future planned visuals and lighting and it becomes apparent that there is a discernible difference.
