Grant Carruthers has gone from strength to strength building a full time career as a professional musician. He has starred in successful national theatre tours in Australia, worked as Musical Director on a successful Motown show and has toured internationally performing on cruise ships all over the world with his unique ‘one man band’ show. The solo performance showcases his incredible looping skills and incorporates guitar, vocals, saxophone and sometimes even keys! Grant has an extensive song list containing over 350 songs from a wide range of genres including top 40, classic rock, Motown, smooth jazz and even some traditional Irish tunes. This stylistic versatility combined with his instrumental virtuosity allows Grant to entertain any audience, catering for wedding/party occasions, subtle background music and straight up pub entertainment. Countless hours on stage have given Grant an uncanny knack at reading the crowd which ensures whatever your event, however things transpire on the night, Grant will always leave you and your guests with a smile on their face and a groove in their step!
