Frantic Banjo are a 4-piece covers band from Nuneaton, in the heart of England, covering a broad range of some of your favourite tracks from your favourite artists, all delivered with a full and exciting 'edge' to keep you moving and singing all night long.

Their fully loaded performances are characterised by the energy and fun they impart to audiences. You can't just sit back and listen with Frantic Banjo – having a laugh and getting the audience involved is the order of the day! They'll dance with you, sing with you and have a great time with you. Prices are very competitive whatever your event - Frantic Banjo are always great value for money!

Feel free to get in touch to discuss your budget and requirements - the guys are always happy to help.

Frantic Banjo were excellent for our joint birthday party. Really easy to deal with, so we had no worries running up to the event. But most of all helped make it such a brilliant night. Interacted with us all dancing and changed there set list as they went along _ even let a couple of the guests sing along. Thank you guys I had an amazing birthday celebration, such fun

Magnificent!! The band were very punctual, polite and very dedicated to working towards our every demand (sorry guys!). They even let myself and other guests sing a few songs with them. I can’t recommend them enough!

We had a great night. These guys were simply fantastic, the music was exactly what I wanted and they engaged really well with a lively audiance in a very small village pub (John did say they were happy to play anywhere). They were there really early to get set up and just got on with it, easy to book, easy to communicate with about what you want and easy to pay too! I really recommend them - they're all great musicians but the lead guitarist needs to be found by a talent scout!

FAQs

  • Please, describe your act or business in on sentence:

High energy pop/rock covers band with a fun and entertaining edge

  • What are the highlights of your career?

Spending a day with Gene Simmons

  • What is your competitive advantage (special features)?

We play audiences like a 5th instrument - they're the most important member of the band

  • What kind of events do you usually serve?

    Pubs, clubs and parties mostly

  • Who are your previous clients?

    Pubs, clubs and private clients

  • How can event planners pay for your services?

    Cash or BACS

  • How long do you play for?

    2-3 hours

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

    Yes

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

No PLI but equipment is PAT tested

  • How much space do you require?

We can fit into a minimum space of 10ft x 10ft at a push

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

Let us know what it is in advance and if it's technically possible within our technical constraints, we'll learn it for you. (a 4 piece guitar band won't manage a very good rendition of Beethoven's 9th)

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

Depends on the client's requirements - 2 sets or 3. Generally we take one break of about 10 minutes, but if the audience is really 'on a mad one' we may even play straight through so they can carry on dancing

  • Can you play quietly?

We don't do ANYTHING quietly. If a more 'reserved' or 'mainstream' approach is what you require, then we're probably not the band for you. While we do play a broad variety of music, our performance is live, loud and full of fun, with a distinct rock influence.
