FAQs

• How long do you need to set up?

  For indoor jobs I require 15-25 mins. For outdoor jobs requiring the gazebo set up I like to have between 1-1.5 hours so set up is not rushed and the overall aesthetic is achieved.

• Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

  Yes, this in mandatory and standard in the face painting industry.

• What experience do you have working with children?

  I have had roles in a school as a TA since 2012 and left to set up my own face and body painting company. I have also cared for a young boy with autism since 2013. I am now also a tutor at a well know University in Bath. In my face painting work I can paint up to 400 happy children a day!

• Are you DBS checked?

  DBS check requests must be made by the client as individuals who are self employed cannot request checks on their own behalf. However, we are happy to show you copies of previous passed certificates requested for events. We have years of experience working with children and young people and currently hold job specific full DBS checks for our care jobs. DBS checks are only required for events where children or people under 16 are unsupervised. If you do require one for your event please allow appropriate time for the paperwork turn around as this can take between 4-8 weeks.

• Do you limit the number of children that we can invite to our child's Birthday party?

  The amount of children that can be painted is only limited by time and number of painters. I like to discuss numbers and time with clients however as a rule- one painter can paint up to 20 children in an hour- depending on complexity of design requested.

• Do you have set or prescribed designs that people being painted must chose?

  We often bring a themed ideas board with us that we think will suit the event. This is a board that we paint on with face paint to show what our designs could look like and give people ideas. However, we actively encourage requests and imagination!

• Do you need access to water?

  We need access to fresh water to paint however, if your site or venue does not have this just let us know in advance. We will bring our own supplies.

• Do you have means to paint outside?

  Yes we have a fabulous converted vintage painting stand for outdoor events. It was converted from a traditional roving pop-corn stand and is very eye catching and fun! We can wheel this around and use it as a portable base or, for a more permanent structure, we can house it in our beautiful gazebo that can be set up anywhere with enough space and level ground.
