I was taught the bagpipes as a child and have been playing for over 25 years. I have played and competed with various pipe bands and now compete with Manchester Phoenix Pipe Band. I teach the bagpipes privately and I'm also employed by the M.O.D to teach the bagpipes at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate to junior soldiers. I have appeared on the ITV Series 'The Dales' as well as 'The Lakes' playing at weddings featured on the programs. I have performed at 1000's of weddings, funerals, parties, and other events and have countless positive testimonials from very happy clients. I am booked every New Years Eve to play at Thorpe Park Hotel in Leeds, as well as Napoleon's Casino in Sheffield. I also receive repeat Burns Night bookings from Loch Fyne in Sheffield. I have a very good relationship with a number of funeral directors in Sheffield, Barnsley, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham, all of whom use me as their first port of call whenever they have a client that needs a bagpiper.

I cover Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Bolton, Harrogate, Bradford, York, Doncaster, Wakefield, Hull, Derby, Nottingham, and Lincoln, etc.

Social distance 80th birthday surprise for my Dad. Ed was fab. Communication was brilliant with him calling to discuss beforehand. He played a variety of music and also took requests. Most definitely a 5* performance.
My Dad, family and even some passers by thoroughly enjoyed it. A couple in a car turned up, saying they heard the bagpipes and just had to find them- the lady was Scottish and she was so emotional.
Ed did a great job under difficult COVID 19 circumstances. Worth every penny to see the enjoyment on my Dads face. Thank you x

Set List/Services

I play all the well known Scottish bagpipe tunes including Highland Cathedral, Flower of Scotland, Mull of Kyntyre, Amazing Grace, Scotland The Brave, Scottish Soldier, Skye Boat Song, Highland Laddie and The Black Bear, etc. My repertoire is quite extensive and changes from time to time as I'm frequently learning new tunes as a solo player and a band player.
