Description
Southwest music award finalists Devonbirds vibrant performance is a mix of original soul touching folk songs firmly rooted in Westcountry folklore and dialect, interspersed with lively traditional foot stomping jigs and reels to get you kicking up a dance. They can also provide a few Celidh dances if clients would like a variation. They love telling tales with plenty of stories about highwaymen, witches and magic , conjuring their rich tapestry of sound with an accomplished mix of vocals, fiddle, whistle, bouzouki and guitar playing. With their highly anticipated third album due for release in 2018 the trio have been gigging across the country to rave reviews delighting crowds at festivals and events. Devonbird are Kath Bird Vocals, whistle, Sophia Colkin Fiddle, Andy Clarke Guitar Bouzouki and stringed instruments
They are touring nationally and are a great addition at festivals , pub events and private functions. They can also perform acoustically . They have also had international airplay and two critically acclaimed albums

We play at various events including festivals , pub gigs , folk clubs, private parties , acoustic venues, pagan events
How long do you play for?
we can play anything up to 2 and 1/2 hours . We play haunting ballads and rousing original and traditional folk songs interspersed with traditional Irisha nd English jig reels and tunes.

We have our own PA
How much space do you require?
We have played in very small spaces and also on larger stages across the country
How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
in a 2 hour set we would take one 20 minute break
