Singer/guitarist, songs from 50's, 60's, 70's.
What kind of events do you usually serve?
I don't really have a "usually". I worked for a number of years as musician/storyteller, going into schools and community groups. I got involved in folk sessions and put a pub band together out of musicians I met there. My aim is to always engage with whatever audience I'm in front of, and ensure everyone has a good time.
Who are your previous clients?
Councils across Scotland, pubs across Fife.
How long do you play for?
How long do you want? I'd say up to 3 sets of 45/50 mins, happy to discuss this.
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Own PA, lighting can be arranged if required.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Equipment PAT tested, bring my own PA, no lighting.
How much space do you require?
Enough to set a mic stand and fit behind it. Plus stick a couple of speakers on tripods in corners of the room.
My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
Happy to discuss this.
How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
To be discussed based on nature of evnet - as a guide I'd say play 50 mins, stop for 10/15.
