I have been a professional chef in my own restaurant for more than 10 years and received further training with former head chef from River Cottage HQ Joe Draper.
I have experience in different cuisines, such as traditional British, Mediterranean, French and Asian. I am keen to explore experimental methods of preparing and presenting food.
Vintage afternoon tea is my speciality, for larger parties or weddings my delicious hog or lamb roasts are perfect and creating mouth-watering, delicious restaurant or family style dinners are popular too.
I cater for weddings, private holiday home catering for special celebrations, including breakfast, takeaway frozen ready meals, corporate venues and holiday retreats. Including catering for children, well-balance family meals and large numbers of guests. Restaurant style dinner for large numbers of guests, at relatively short notice is possible.
I work in a perfect team with my husband Simon front of house and a very professional, friendly team of front of house and chefs; we set your dining table, using your linens or we provide our own crisp white tablecloths and napkins. Drinks packages are available, or we would be happy to serve your own drinks for you.
The process is quite simple, with a good understanding of your culinary needs and tastes; we can design your menu together or I will create a menu for you.
I use local organic suppliers where possible, goat meat & pork is provided from my own smallholding and beef from farm in nearby Braunton.
Fish and vegetables are provided locally and only from sustainable and ethical suppliers; therefore, our menus are based on seasonal availability.
