Catering Twist

"We have used catering companies often but this was a last minute event and the company we used before could not accomadate us.
I had hoped that they would be much the same, sadly they most definitely are not.
The last company we used when it was for similar numbers provided us with an abundance of food which was all freshly made, they set up and left freshly made pastries, rice dishes and desserts with jugs of cream etc, the empty dishes etc were collected the next day, can I point out that they were also cheaper per head than the company recommended by your company.
I was not in when the buffet arrived but my Wife called to say she was not happy about what had been delivered.
I found to my dismay that the buffet provided appeared to be about £50-60 of Iceland Fayre which had been heated and passed on to us at a huge mark up.
Not one thing was freshly made, and as I stipulated the buffet was for 30 ish, we got 3o ish of each item, god forbid If somebody wanted another sausage roll.
We ended up having to spend another £170 on pizzas etc from dominos as we were too embarrassed to present the buffet to our guests, not only would I not recommend this company I would actively advise against using them.
My wife and I were disappointed and embarrassed in front of our guests.
At £330 this was daylight robbery.
When I employ the services of a catering company I assume I am going to get good , fairly priced wholesome food not stuff out a box heated up then served on paper plates, this buffet would maybe have suited a 5 year olds birthday party st best."
