Description
The Brandon Village Band originates from the Norfolk town of the same name, with the band roving across East Anglia and beyond to entertain for weddings, parties and all manner of events. Their music originates from the British Isles and beyond, but the delivery is typically English, with an infectious rhythmic groove to get the party going!
The core band of James (violin) and Alex (diatonic button accordion) reunites two founder members of the awarding-winning folk band Mawkin; the two have delighted audiences around the world on stage and TV and regularly work with other high profile artists including the Mercury Award nominee Eliza Carthy as well as Jim Moray.
A friendly caller – Andrew – completes the core line-up and will ensure that everyone is encouraged to get up and dance and they will know what the moves are – well, roughly at least… it’s the chaos that makes a ceilidh fun!
