The Blue Lion Band are full-time professional musicians who perform regularly with some of the best in the UK, often touring and recording with artists such as Jason Derulo, Ellie Golding, Mark Knopfler, Peter Andre, Guy Sebastian... to name a few, as well as working and touring with numerous West End shows.
We have a passion for great music and focus on building the right energy for the dance floor without the need for those cringe-worthy cheesy songs.
Come along and hear the Blue Lion Band play at one of our regular Free Live Showcase Nights we host all over the UK. This is an ideal opportunity for you to see the quality of music we provide, and make decisions about the music for your big day based on personal experience. Don’t worry if you’re unable to make it, we can also send you a free demo CD.

How long do you play for?
Our basic booking package is for up to 5hrs from the time the guys need to have their setup complete (ie the time your guests enter the room). Within this time, we offer up to the equivalent of 3 x 45min sets plus up to 45mins of complimentary/optional live background music.
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes!
How much space do you require?
Depends on the band size - we provide bands from 4pc - 15pc. Please contact us for a specific quote
My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
With regard to the song list, the best thing to do is to give us a short list of your favourite songs/bands/artists and a list of anything you definitely don't want to hear. This gives the band a clear idea of your musical tastes which we use as a guide when we pick songs on the night in reaction to the audience. There's a generic list on our website if this helps to get you started, but don't be restricted by those. Repertoire lists are always changing, so feel free to put down songs that aren't mentioned on the website to give us an idea :) Special requests - eg First Dance or Bridal Entry - can be learnt as long as it suits the band line-up. We're happy to take up to three requests, so just email me any you'd really like played and I'll let you know if they're a possibility. Special requests must be emailed through me by 4weeks prior to your event :)
How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
Break length depends on the schedule of the function, but generally between 10-20mins between 3 sets of live music. DJ playlist provided in breaks
Set List/Services
Very diverse and large repertoire - the best thing to do is to give us a shortlist of your favourite bands/songs/artists and anything you don't like and that gives us a good idea of how to prepare for your function.
