We are husband and wife team, Matt & Lou. We started out owning a little café in West Kirby, on the Wirral Peninsula, Merseyside, where we built a reputation for offering great food, sometimes with a twist but always with a lot of love. The growth of our business and, in particular the outside catering and Street Food elements, encouraged us to take the leap to leaving our four walls behind, and opening Hardy’s Events and Catering.
Our outside catering business has grown from strength to strength in the last several years, and the range and variety of events we cater for has lead us to some really exciting opportunities. Weddings, Corporate Events, Private Parties, Festivals, Food Fayres and Private Dining Experiences, to name a few – we’ve loved them all! We offer a full catering service from sit down three course dining, canapés, BBQs, picnics & banquets…and pretty much everything in between. We are also fully licensed so are able to offer you a bar service in addition to the food.
Why feel restricted by a traditional wedding reception or party in a local hotel, when you can rent a field and build your dream event from the ground up. At Hardy’s Events and Catering, we are experts in creating both days and nights to remember with our beautiful, multi-functional tipis. If you can find the space, we can turn your dream into a reality.
We have Giant, Midi and Mini Tipis available to hire, which we can arrange in whatever configuration suits you and your guests.
If you think the Big Tipi of Love is just a fancy name for a big tent, then you’ve never been inside one.

We have 1, 2 or 3 Giant Tipis, which can seat from 50 to 150 guests. They come with beautiful flooring & fairy lights throughout to create the most magical setting and backdrop to your day.
Our Big Dub of Love Street Food Vans look fantastic next to the Big Tipis of Love! You can really create a festival style wedding incorporating the Big Dubs! They are also a great option for your ‘evening food’, offering a casual relaxed format at night time once the party has begun!
We can also use a Big Dub of Love as a bar! So if you are wanting a quirky set up to serve your beers from, just let us know! We are here to help create the very best day for you
Our Mini Tipis of Love, are ideal for a chill out area away from the party, or a shelter to house an outside cocktail bar! Decorate them however you want – balloons, fairy lights, festoon lights or flowers!
We have our lovely catering tent which matches the Tipis which we can addto the side or back for us cook from; Our Bi-Ethanol Fire Pit provides smokeless flames and a warm flickering light – it can also be used outside!; We can source fantastic furniture to suit YOUR style and event! From classic round tables, to rustic benches, Indian Painted Chairs to German Bierkeller Tables – YOUR DAY YOUR WAY!
We have a wide range of accessories available for hire – to help create the most wonderous of spaces! From Chesterfield Sofas to vintage Peacock Chairs, Vintage Trunks to Apple Carts to display special mementoes! Just let us know what you need and we can help!
