Description

Price from: £600

Although this is my trio and in this lineup we mainly play rearrange classic tunes in a stripped back, post-modern jukebox sort of style.
We also go out as a straight ahead jazz trio/quartet/quintet but more/as often as an upbeat covers band playing the songs as per the original-

Since forming in 2001 we have been playing at events, weddings and private parties across the UK and the world, in front of huge audiences, and for many prestigious clients and venues- see below.
I run various ‘versions’ of these bands ranging from a solo piano/vocal set up to acoustic and amplified duos and trios through to 5/6 piece function bands. We’re comfortable in- and have an extensive and evergrowing- playlist that encompass styles ranging from jazz and swing through to soul, funk and rock/pop/modern day chart music.
We are more than willing -and often do- travel for work, and we own a substantial and top of the range PA system to suit all venues and events.
Clients have included The Royal Opera House, The National Theatre, The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Ricky Gervais, Michael McIntyre, Simon Cowell, The BBC, The 02, The Barbican, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey, Children in Need, Sony, Warner Chappell, Strictly Come Dancing, Universal, Cowes Week, Bacardi, Mount Gay Rum, The Dorchester Hotel, The Savo y Hotel, amongst many others.

  • What are the highlights of your career?

  • What is your competitive advantage (special features)?

We play pretty much every genre of music, but can deliver it in a myriad of styles. If you want cool, conversational music, or dance floor filler tunes, we offer it all.

  • What kind of events do you usually serve?

Everything from private parties, weddings and functions to corporate events and festivals both across the UK and abroad.

  • Who are your previous clients?

Clients have included The Royal Opera House, The National Theatre, The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Ricky Gervais, Michael McIntyre, Simon Cowell, The BBC, The 02, The Barbican, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey, Children in Need, Sony, Warner Chappell, Strictly Come Dancing, Universal, Cowes Week, Bacardi, Mount Gay Rum, The Dorchester Hotel, The Savoy Hotel, amongst many others.

  • How can event planners pay for your services?

Whatever way works best and is easiest for the client, agent or booker.

  • How long do you play for?

We’re flexible and can tailor the entertainment to suit your event, but typically 2 hr sets. However, we’ve been known to play an afternoon set of more stripped back music and then 2 hours of power later in the evening, adding musicians to the lineup where necessary.

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

    Yes

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

    Yes

  • How much space do you require?

It depends on whether you’re booking the duo, trio, 4 or 5 piece, but we can (and have) fitted into stages and spaces ranging from a living room all the way through to a festival staging area. No venue is too big or small.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

    Absolutely.

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

This isn’t set- it’s whatever works best for the flow of the night/event. But typically we’d have a 30 min break in between two hour long sets.
