Alia Al-Raqisa

I have been belly dancing for a number of years now, and have trained with well known dancers such as Ozgen and Lorna of Cairo.
I appear regularly in restaurants in and around the Midlands. Restaurant, shisha, cafe, music video and public event work are my preferred areas of work. I have plenty of experience in the above fields. I have appeared in one of the UK's most prestigious Belly dance shows, The Arab Quarterly in London, where performance is by invitation only. I have experience performing with a live band as well as a large playlist covering an array of Arabic genres from classic oriental, through to modern shaabi. I have a great variety of costumes in a wide range of styles, to compliment your event.
