"""I just wanted to say again how completely fantastic and beautiful your music was during both the wedding ceremony and the drinks reception yesterday afternoon. I had so many people say how much they enjoyed your style of music and that it was a lovely touch to the day. I will be leaving you all a brilliant online review and would Thoroughly recommend you to anybody in the future - just wonderful!!""

"""The Salisbury Quartet are really outstanding (this is almost a review since both my wife and I are professional flutists). Our guests and I really enjoyed their playing. They are extremely flexible in terms of the Programme and their presence really made a difference to our big day. Thank you!!!""

FAQ
  • What kind of events do you usually serve?
Weddings, drinks receptions, parties, celebrations, dinners...anything really.
  • How long do you play for?
We take bookings by the hour from one to four and a half.
  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?
If you are concerned that the acoustic volume of the quartet will not be enough to reach all your guests then we are able to provide amplification. This rarely provided by other quartets.
  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes 5 million. Very few other quartets have a proper policy in place. Our amp has a PAT test certificate.
  • How much space do you require?
3m x 3m and somewhere nearby to put our cases/coats bags etc.
  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
We have sourced all kinds of special requests for clients over the years. If it works for quartet and I can get the music then its possible. Sometimes this is free, sometimes a small charge.
  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
We take breaks sensitively according to the progression of the function. This is usually approx every hour-hour and a half
  • How much experience do you have
    Oh, just 20 years!
  • Is it much more expensive to have more time?
Once we are booked for the first hour, extra time is considerably cheaper on top of that...so go for as much time as you want!
  • Do you charge extra for travel
There are no extra charges for travel within Herts, each booking is then taken on a case by case basis
