Description
The Anglo-Italian Jazz band are a versatile 6-piece Jazz band, bringing you a taste of 'la dolce vita' with their modern twist on vintage, classic Italian songs, gypsy-jazz, swing and jazz standards in English and Italian. Let the band take you on a Vespa ride back to retro bella Italia with a mix of Italian swing favourites like 'Volare' and 'That’s Amore' intertwined with rustic Roman Stornelli, romantic Neapolitan ballads, enticing bossa nova and samba rhythms along with foot-tapping rock n' roll and boogie-woogie.
The band have performed at events at some of the UK's historical landmarks and most prestigious venues such as the Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, The Royal Albert Hall, Hever Castle, The Royal Academy of Art, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The Shard, The Gherkin, The St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London, The Dorchester Hotel and One Whitehall Place.
The band is frequently invited to perform at a variety of significant Italian events in the UK and abroad including The Italian Awards, Horsham Piazza Italia, Festival Italia in Brands Hatch, Bellavita Expo, Harvey Nichols 'Britalia', Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina, C Carnevale and ENI's annual celebrations in London.
Other notable international performances include Jazz and World Music festivals in Greece, Bulgaria, and Ukraine and Henley Festival in the UK. The band have also been invited to perform in the USA, China, Korea, at Moscow Performing Arts Center, Jazz and Blues Festival 'Valcea' in Romania, and the Rodin Museum in Paris (June 2021).

• Dec. 8, 2015I couldn't recommend this band highly enough, they played at our wedding reception making it ever so special. Our guests still talk about how amazing they were during their performance and I couldn't say thank you enough for making the all experience so smooth and pleasant - which is so important while planning a wedding on your own. Lovely people, but most of all truly amazing artists!

We are able to provide a large repertoire of English and Italian retro swing and rearranged up tempo jazz tunes. Examples include:

American Songbook, Jazz, Swing and Jive: My Baby Just Cares For Me, Sway, Sing, Sing, Sing, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Bei Mir Bist du Schein, Old Black Magic, The look of love, One note Samba.
We can also include modern songs rearranged in a jazz style (as Postmodern Jukebox) for example, 'All About that Bass' or 'Careless Whisper'.
