As we have already said on our home page, By Request is a professional, bespoke, outside catering company and has been so for some 33 years now. Our staff are qualified and committed to providing handmade, fresh food every day.
Entertaining, even for those who are experienced is not only stressful but hard work.
We pride ourselves in being able to hand make all the choices on our menus. We only deal with top quality suppliers who can deliver fresh ingredients daily thus enabling us to provide you with first-class catering. This is what makes us stand out from the rest of the caterers in the area.

What services do you offer?
Bespoke service included finger buffets, fork buffets, hot bistro style food, street food, gourmet "sit down" dinners, canapes bbqs. Catering for functions such as office functions, catering for meetings or presentations, weddings, birthdays, childrens parties, funerals, drinks parties and Christenings
Do you offer a venue for the banquet?
No venue of our own but know of several local venue which allow us the cater for functions
Do you cook in the same location as the banquet?
We usually prepare the food in our owr purpose built premise then if the facilities are available on site finish the food off to coincide with the clients requirements or if the facilities aren't available we can bring the equipment we need.
Is it possible to adapt/modify the menu?
All menus can be "chopped and changed", if there is something the client would like we can quote as we prepare and cook all the dishes from scratch ourselves
What kind of cuisine do you offer?
A whole range - this is all we do, we are JUST an outside catering company, not a sandwich shop, cafe or restaurant that does a bit of catering on the side!!!
Do you offer special menus?
We have sample menus and we can produce bespoke menus to suit the clients tastes and budget
Do you also offer a wedding cake?
No but we have contacts to companies we have seen do nice cakes
How does the open bar work?
We can provide a drinks / bar service. This can be a pay bar, free bar, a ticket option or a combination of all - whatever suits the client
What is included in the menu?
Our drinks service prices included, drinks, glassware, washing of glasses, staff, transport, license, any chilling, garnishes and ice if required, the bar itself with decoration
Set List/Services
We provide outside catering for all sizes and types of functions, large or small, from silver service to self-service, six people or six hundred people – the choice is yours. Corporate events, weddings, christenings, funerals, private dinner parties, barbecues, buffets, children’s parties are what we do 52 weeks of the year.
