Having toured since 2007, The Floyd Effect has become rightly renowned for the remarkable accuracy with which it performs the iconic music of Pink Floyd.
All of the band's members are top quality musicians with pedigrees that stretch across all manner of musical genres, and they faithfully recreate the music and intensity of a Pink Floyd concert without recourse to backing tracks, racks of computers, or other technological wizardry. Every note that you hear is played and sung by the band, making each concert a genuine 'live' experience, powerful, immersive and emotional. Of course, the music is supported by a dramatic light show that incorporates the iconic circular screen, two sets of projections (incorporating some of Pink Floyd's own images and some of the band's own), smoke and lasers. Unless you were there the first time round, the music of Pink Floyd was never as real as this.
The Prognosis are the Surrey based progressive rock tribute band recreating the sounds produced by a number of excellent prog rock bands from the seventies and eighties.
This musical genre first established in the 70’s by the former Surrey based bands of Genesis and Camel is now being re-discovered with the help of The Prognosis who are creating a renewed groundswell of interest in this type of music.
The Prognosis play a complex and varied set of classics, from Shine on you Crazy Diamond and Comfortably Numb from Pink Floyd, Firth of the Fifth, Cinema Show, The Knife and Turn It On Again from Genesis , Lady Fantasy, Rydar Goes to Town and Dunkirk from Camel and others classics from the likes of Supertramp, Deep Purple, Focus, Caravan, Rush, King Crimson, ELP, Jethro Tull & Steve Hackett as well as their own original material.
Formed in 2005, Time to Breathe have worked hard over the last five years to provide a stunning insight into the final ever tour by Pink Floyd as they perform tracks from the extensive set list that made up 'The Division Bell' world tour of 1994.
The tour was captured for posterity in the classic 'PULSE' TV broadcast, CD and eventually, the live dvd filmed at Earls Court, London that contains the only officially released footage of Pink Floyd performing 'Dark Side Of The Moon' in its entirety.
A Time To Breathe concert brings to you a flavour of those ground breaking shows on an ever increasing scale and now in 2010, the band are putting together the finishing touches to their spectacular new show that features the Pink Floyd trademark arched stage rig and large circular projection screen, showing specially commissioned films paying a further tribute to Pink Floyd.
With such attention to detail, everything combines to make the Time to Breat...

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart for playing so beautifully at the Sharnbrook Mill Theatre warm up ball. Frisco just rocked the stage and it was such a pleasure to watch everyone jumping on their toes and having a good old boogie. We were certainly part of it. We were wowed by all for our efforts.
Thank you so much for Saturday night. Everyone loved you. I have had a lot of people asking me for your details as they would like to book you in the future. You made the night stress free for me. My mum and dad said you were the best band that they had ever seen and they were so pleased with my choice. Next time I arrange a party I will definitely book you guys. Thanks so much xx
