This is our most common event package where we're required top be set up and sounchecked by 7:00pm (usually arriving on site for 5:30pm). We come fully self-contained with sound and lighting. We usually play 2 long (1hr 15mins) sets, or 3 shorter (45mins) sets. We are happy to learn/play your chosen first dance song if you'd like us to, just as long as we are confident of delivering a good version. We will also provide the music between our sets if you prefer not to book a separate DJ. We're happy for you to have full control over this playlist - send us a list of songs, or a Spotify playlist, or simply leave it to us.

The Manchester-based Cherry Pickers Steel Band is one of the longest running steel bands in the UK and is affiliated to Solid Steel. It's longest standing member, Max Cherrie, is a steel pan icon and an absolute treasure within the steel pan community. This quote is for the first hour of an all acoustic and all instrumental performance from this wonderful band playing as a trio. Other packages are available with different band sizes on request. We go out as solo singers separately as well as together, with pretty much the same set lists, only difference is one live lead vocal and guitar, rather than two live lead vocals and keys. We use the same customised backing tracks and so, as a solo option it is much the same. We can both perform acoustic sets too. Recent review: I have to be honest, booking Holly’s band was a bit of an amazing fluke. We had actually booked another steel drum band who let us down by telling us 2 months before the wedding they couldn’t learn the song we had asked them 7 months before (one we’d like to walk down the aisle to). In a panic I started sending out messages to all steel drum bands in the North East. Not only was Holly the quickest to get back, with the best offer but the band already knew our aisle song! I couldn’t believe our luck! Not only that, Holly offered to learn more songs to make the day even more personal to us. The music filled our day with joy and so many of our guests have asked for a CD of Holly’s band (yes, Holly, I will be in touch begging for this!). You are an exceptionally talent group of musicians and the moment of hearing a melodic version of Local Hero as I walked down the aisle will be a memory I cherish forever.
