Coventry Cathedral

Known all over the world as a beautiful and unique venue, Coventry Cathedral was designed by architect Sir Basil Spence following the bombing of the city in 1940, it was opened in 1962 and is celebrated as the UK’s favourite 20th century building.

We have a range of spaces available for hire, including the Cathedral Nave and the Ruins, and a great deal of experience in organising events of all sizes. Over the years we have been privileged to host some of the city’s most prestigious events, including the Godiva Awards, BBC Antiques Road Show, Songs of Praise, Question Time and the Mystery Plays to name but a few.


We can host concerts of all kinds, gigs, theatre productions, meetings, conferences, wedding banquets and corporate events. The Ruins are an ideal backdrop for a range of events. We also have smaller spaces for more intimate events, such as meetings, dinners, weddings and services of blessing.


In the Nave of the Cathedral we can accommodate a whole host of events, including impressive banquets for up to 500. We have a range of smaller rooms for workshops, meetings and dinners and, as an added advantage, we are conveniently close to the City Centre and to transport hubs.


The Nave is a stunning and inspiring venue for larger events. The Nave is used for a wide variety of events from concerts, to banquets, awards ceremonies, TV recordings, balls and conferences. Old Shire Hall

Built by William and David Hiorn in 1750 to the designs of gentleman-architect Sanderson Miller, Old Shire Hall is a magnificent Grade I listed building including a main hall, three courtrooms and cells.
The Old Shire Hall complex was used by Her Majesty’s Courts Service until December 2010. The beautiful buildings can be used for civic functions, corporate events, filming, theatre performances, weddings and conferences.


The impressive Old Shire Hall offers an unparalleled combination of capacity and character and is ideal for gala dinners for 160 or 350 for receptions.


In addition, the Georgian Grade 2 listed Judges’ House which is accessible from the Old Shire Hall, offers elegant dining and drawing rooms for fine dining and drinks receptions.

Hatton Village Hall

The hall can be found on the A4177 approx. 4 miles north of Warwick. It is in a good central location, just a stone’s throw from the motorway network (M40), with good off road parking available.

The main part of the building was purpose built in 1924, & hosts most of the facilities. The second & older part which hosts the George Lyons room was once the old school & as yet has not been dated.


The Hall has undergone a full refurbishment in recent years including disabled access & toilets, a kitchen refurbishment, carpark resurfacing, decorating & carpeting.


It really is a wonderful facility, but don’t take our word for it, contact us to arrange an appointment to look around yourself (prior appointment only) and we will be only too pleased to show you around. We can also put you in touch with caterers for your functions.


There are three rooms available for hire at the hall: these are The Main Hall , The George Lyons Room & The Committee room , to suit all types of functions.


We have an onsite caretaker who looks after the Hall & takes the bookings.

De Montfort Hall

De Montfort Hall is Leicestershire’s largest venue promoting a wide ranging and exciting programme of arts and entertainment for the East Midlands.

Originally built in 1913, the Hall re-opened in December 1994 after extensive refurbishment work enabling a greater versatility to accommodate a diverse range of shows and events. Located in its own grounds on the edge of the city centre, the Hall is within easy reach of both the M1 and M69 and the railway station on the Intercity Midland Mainline route just one and a half hours from London. East Midlands Airport is 40 minutes away on the M1.


The Hall is also known for its excellent facilities for all kinds of events from large scale conferences and exhibitions to AGM’s and award ceremonies.

Dorridge Village Hall

The Hall can be found on the B4101 (Grange Road), just after Dorridge Park heading towards Hockley Heath. We are about 4 miles from Solihull town centre and close to the M42 (see map). The main hall is 15.5 m x 9.5 m and is accessed from the bar area with two sets of double glass doors. There is a fully sized stage at the head of the hall dressed with velvet curtains. The hall is big enough to accommodate a full-sized badminton court.


The hall is very popular for wedding receptions (Saturdays only), anniversary parties, children's parties and adult birthday parties (at the moment, due to licensing restrictions, we do not cater for birthday parties for those aged between 14 and 21 inclusive). It will comfortably seat 120 people for a sit down meal, but could accommodate more (see Capacity box below). The hall has wall lighting suitable for social functions and fluorescent strip lighting if required.


Bar area at Dorridge Village Hall

We have 20 rectangular tables which seat up to 8 people. The chairs are a gold colour fabric which match almost any colour combination you may wish to use for your function.


The carpeted bar area measures an area of 7m x 5m. Lounge chairs are placed around this area for a more informal social setting. Click here for a picture.

Bands can set up on the stage or you can use it for speeches. There is space for up to 150 people to enjoy an evening party and disco.


Equine Learning offer a range of horsemanship courses and experiences from their Picnic Lunches to horse camps for disadvantaged children.


Working closely with a variety of suppliers we can make your event a success and very memorable. Anything is possible from fairground rides to casino tables.


A wide range of events can be hosted including private parties, anniversary parties, birthday parties, corporate events, funeral wakes, life celebrations.

The main hireable space is the old stone barn, which has 50 chairs and a mixture of rectangular and round tables, central heating and good acoustics.
