Recent review: The Hosen Brass Band was great. They attended our Christmas Carol concert on December 20th. There was so flexible, and played the music that we asked for them to play. I would definitely recommend them for future events.

We are getting married on the 4th March 2017 at Carlowrie Castle in Kirkliston and want a non traditional band. All out guests are english and not familiar with the traditional songs that normally accompany a ceilidh. We are looking for pop/rnb covers if possible.
We would like to organise a ceilidh at the Cuan Mor brewery bar - http://www.cuanmor.co.uk/venue-function-room/ - on 21 February 2016. We will arrive at the bar at around 20hr30-21hr00 and would like music until around 23hr30.
My work Restaurant is holding a local fundraising event in aid to raise as much money for our chosen charity ( maternity unit at Wishaw general hospital ). The date of even will be on Monday 2nd may. We are having a ' family fun day ' which includes face painting and bouncy castle. We are looking for something a bit extra and different and would love to have your balloon making services. We are looking for a quote if possible.
Hi- I am planning to hold a fundraiser country/ folk night. I am looking for a good, up-beat country band with maybe a wee bit Scottish folk thrown in. Usually around £100 people attend. My date is a little flexible.
Our party took place on a horrendous cold windy and rainy day; but, you wouldn't have guessed it! Steelosophical (duo with DJ services) bought the Carribean weather to the party and was all the guests talked about even 2 weeks after the party.
The band were professional, and surprised me with their range of songs ( there was something for all ages and cultures) and their talent with one of the members taking a turn on the mic. They arrived early to set up so the guests were played to on arrival. The hotel in fact were late with the reception drinks which didn't matter as everyone was so transfixed with the band. Gary was a pleasure to deal with and happily used his experience of events to judge the mood of the event and play music accordingly.
My mother always has to complain about something and she was full of praise for the band and the party as a result of the band. Result!! I would rate them 11/10 and would highly recommend them.
Mariachi Rey were absolutely brilliant.
Punctual, looked amazing, played what we asked, sounded great, and did over and above for us.
We ordered the 3 piece band, and if I had the budget I would have gone for more, but even as a trio... they were excellent...
I would book them again in a heartbeat !
"We hired the lads to play at an LGBT performance and clubnight celebrating Irish culture at an East London venue. They were very punctual, showing up on time for a professional soundcheck well in advance. They had a great attitude and were fantastic at getting the crowd going. They had no problem letting our performers jump in on the mic as well to do some ceilí calling and other silly things we wanted to do. Would highly recommend them for any event where you need a lively trad band. "
