Recent review: We hired the Stomping Boondocks for our wedding in June 2019, and they were absolutely fantastic. They were communicative and professional in advance, and bent over backwards for us. On the night they were brilliant, and guests absolutely loved them. Would highly recommend.

Recent review: Blag played a Ceilidh for my 50th Birthday party on Saturday. We had a fantastic time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The calling was very clear and the music brilliantly played. I specifically wanted an event where young and old, keen and not so keen dancers would all participate and that was achieved to the enjoyment of everyone. Thank you so much. The communication before the event was clear and helpful - David answering all sorts of detailed questions that I had. I can thoroughly recommend Blag to ensure a great event.

Recent review: Thanks to Shenanigan for making my 70th Birthday Ceilidh evening go so well. The dances , pace, calling etc., were perfect in encouraging everyone, including some who never normally dance at all, as well as the children, to try it and to enjoy themselves. I would recommend you in future.

Recent review: Thank you so much for being able to accommodate us on the wedding of my son! What with atrocious weather causing extensive flooding that weekend and having to postpone the wedding from the Saturday night until the Sunday, we were more than grateful that the band was still willing and able to perform on the Sunday. Great music and excellent calling made the evening, with all participants thoroughly enjoying themselves - sometimes with a little over enthusiasm! Recent review: A fantastic band with so much patience! We ended up having a couple adjustments to the schedule we were going to follow, plus an unexpected delay to the actual start of the music playing, but Spill the Whiskey were really good at going with the flow. They managed to get almost all the guests off their chairs -- the only ones who didn't get up were those who couldn't, and made dancing fun for everyone involved. We had actual people who knew how to dance, people who had no clue, and people who shouldn't be allowed on a dancefloor (me) but somehow the band played songs that worked for all of us and the amount of fun we had just cannot be put into words. Also, they ended their set beautifully, giving us a chance to go round all our guests and exchange a few words and a hug, which meant the world to me. Fantastic band, I very much recommend them!
