The band's passion and obvious joy in the music is clear in their live act and their recordings. In addition, all of the band members are lead vocalists, enabling them to offer a range and depth of material that few other bands possess. In recent years, Go Go dancers have joined the band on stage, giving an exciting reminder of why the music of the 50’s , 60s , 70s and 80's provided so many people with so much pleasure!
The current line up is: Paul Aitken (drums and vocals) Steve Degutis ( guitar and vocals) Dik Cadbury (bass guitar and vocals) Tony Meecock (lead guitar and vocals ) We have a high quality PA with monitors and a midi-triggered ighting system as standard.
The band has played Festivals , Corporate Functions , Clubs , Weddings , Birthday Parties , Universities and Colleges in venues large and small. We have played in Europe and as far afield as Hong Kong . Recently we played to 4500 in Liverpool Arena ( video on youtube).
The Retros played at my mums 80th birthday party and they were absolutely fantastic , played a great selection of songs and had everyone on the dance floor , I highly recommend them , brilliant night thanks Paul and the band

I've seen a few bands in my time but you guys are right up there if anyone is looking for a band for a function etc look no further, as in the words of my favourite song by the SEARCHERS (when you walk in the room) you guys just nailed it.

The band were fantastic we couldn’t have asked for more. Their set list was on the money, great musicianship and connectivity/engagement with the audience. We only wished we’d booked them for three one hour sets!
The Retros are an experienced function band and have played at weddings , corporate events, parties and festivals to many different age groups for the last twenty years.
We have released five albums, appeared on Top of The Pops and played to 4500 Ladies in The Liverpool Echo Arena. Gigs in Hong Kong , Europe and all over the UK.
We have 4 lead vocalists in the band and a wide repertoire as a result including song from the recent pop charts as well as our classic party tracks.
