This was my first experience of a silent disco and with the added responsibility of setting it up, I was slightly apprehensive.
Fortunately, the event proved extremely popular with all the guests and by the end of the night they were dancing and singing along to the anthems.
The ease of using the headsets and only offering one channel simplified the whole process.
Sara's advice and guidance was invaluable....and she responded to my enquiries very promptly.
The boxes arrived when I requested and they've been re-packed awaiting collection. Again, this aspect of the process worked very well.
One small piece of feedback.....when I opened the boxes and went through the contents, I discovered a note which suggested photographing each box. But by then, everything was on the floor! So, earlier notification to do this would have been helpful.
Otherwise, the service and support was excellent. In fact, one of guests has asked if I'd organise a silent disco for their big birthday - after last night, I think I might!

Sarah at Silentdiscomania was extremely helpful and professional. Everything was securely packed with full instructions. She even added some extra cabling that we didn’t have free of charge. Would definitely recommend them.
Sara was absolutely amazing from beginning to end, super communication right from the initial quote and always really helpful with any questions I had. We hired the Silent disco kit with a DJ for my 40th birthday. The kit arrived in plenty of time to allow us to test it all before the party. My family and I all had great fun creating the playlists, with 3 channels, my husband and my children and I all created a list each. On the night was fun seeing what everyone was listening too, a fave part was when my daughter came running up to me very excited as everyone's headsets were all on green - the colour of her playlist!
DJ Chris was fantastic too and made sure everyone had a fab time, I received so many compliments from guests on the night at how good the DJ was, thoroughly recommend both him and silent discomania for any events! A lot of my guests had never experienced a silent disco and they all loved it, saying it was definitely night they wouldn't forget and can't wait for the next one! To summarise a huge thank you to Sara and Chris for making my birthday the best celebration I could've asked for!

These were bloody brilliant!!! A worthwhile add to any party, my friends loved them! There was a mistake with the order which Sara sorted immediately and sent out some more headphones so I have no complaints. They were easy to set up once I’d spoken to Sara and uploaded 2 Spotify playlists onto the iPad and once they were offline they were both perfectly!
Our decision to have a silent disco in a field for my 50th was very last minute but it was the best choice, everybody had brilliant fun bobbing around in the dark with their headphones flashing singing at the top of their voices. Sarah was very friendly and even hand delivered a faulty part to us. It was all well organised and made easy for us.
The headphones and disco lights were an absolute success at the party and everyone loved them. Sara as really responsive to queries and the whole process was extremely easy and stress free. The song selection was great, the DJ had a great sense of what would work well with the crowd and when and he was most of all extremely friendly and accommodating, even though we had a few setbacks! The whole process was smooth and easy and saved us from a lot of stress on the day, would definitely hire again!!

Fabulous addition to our 50th birthday party - we had an amazing time dancing late into the night, without loud music blaring and annoying neighbours. So much fun!
I was able to rent a bubble machine from Poptop for a fair price, which was dropped off at my home along with a package from Amazon for the refill of the bubble liquid, and I was able to keep the machine at home for close to a week, making it less stressful without the need for an immediate return. Communication was very good, and we were able to work something out to arrange a pickup when I wasn’t able to be present for the collection. Very flexible and reliable service!
Great value, arrived a day before so we had time to test that everything worked. Supplier was very responsive & helpful. Had to chase getting deposit back a couple of times, but got it back in the end.
Communicating through pop top was not ideal, but once we got everything settled, our event was a success!

I have given silent discomania a three star rating as when I contacted them the day before our event they informed me that they had not got any address for us to send the equipment when this booking had been confirmed through yourselves and we had been sent an invoice back in the September. It was all a bit of a frantic last minute rush and If I had not telephoned and emailed on Tuesday we would not have received the equipment at all. That said the equipment did arrive on time and the young people enjoyed the silent disco. Sara from discomania informed me that she had kindly thrown in two i Pods, however only one of the iPods worked as the lead could not be connected to the second iPod as something had broken off in the hole, preventing this.
Meant to arrive on Thursday, then Friday, didn't come still 7pm Saturday. All to late and didn't use it as we were at the party venue. Rubbish and stressful.

Our experience being matched with services was poor. The service we were matched with missed our booking, didn't then connect us with a DJ. When we made contact several months later she just managed to find us someone. That DJ cancelled attending our event 2 days prior to our wedding. He handed over to another dj of whom we had no choice but to accept. This dj wasn't prepped at all properly so arrived at our event without the correct leads to connect our silent disco. It was an incredibly stressful experience and we intend to make formal complaints to all involved. Thankfully the dj on the night went above and beyond and did a great job, but he had to drive miles in order to get the right equipment for us.
We are really disappointed after being recmemended this service by fily members who had exceptional support and none of the above problems.

Yes! We will organise the delivery and collection of the equipment. All you need to do is: 1. Check off the items against the packing list. 2. Pack the headsets, transmitters, MP3 players, documents and cables carefully back into the case. 3. Seal the case with the included cable ties. 4. Wait for the courier to arrive. EASY :)
Yes! Our headsets and transmitters come pre charged and both contain batteries. The transmitters last for up to 6 hours so you can be sure that your party can go on until the early hours.
